Overview:
The Dell 1U Rackmount LED Console enables you to mount a system administrator’s control station directly into a rack enclosure while consuming minimal rack space. It is combined with an 18.5-inch flat-panel LED screen and a specially designed keyboard and touchpad mouse. The KMM can be mounted in the same rack U-location with any currently shipping Dell KVM (Keyboard, Video, and Mouse) console switch to manage the setup, administration and maintenance of multiple rack-mounted servers. The interface for the keyboard with touchpad mouse provides ease of use through one USB connection.
The Rackmount LED Console offers tool-less installation with the ReadyRails II interface for easy deployment. The KMM console supports multiple enterprise configurations. It can also provide access to servers which are connected by a cascaded console switch in 2-tier architecture. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
